Pool representa el segundo galardón otorgado a Latinworks en el festival número 60 de Cannes
LatinWorks, a Texas-based Hispanic ad agency headed by President and CEO Sergio Alcocer, shared with PRODU the story about the Silver Film Lion it won at this years Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The spot is called Pool and was created for the non-profit organization WRAAC, which promotes parental control over their kids use of the Internet. The commercial was hailed by critics, particularly for the acting of the kiddies in the lead roles.Pool was the second award LatinWorks won at the 60th Cannes Lions Festival. Its first statuette honored the radio commercial dubbed Maduro in reference to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and the little birdie that he claimed, during the last presidential election campaign, was a reincarnation of the late President Hugo Chavez. This political curiosity inspired the LatinWorks creative team to produce the commercial for Cine Las Americas, a non-profit supporting Latino, Latin American and indigenous filmmakers, that won a Bronze Radio Lion.
